The Paper Plane Manifesto

For this university project, students were asked to create a design manifesto — a public declaration of intent, expressing a unique standpoint towards the field of design. Aimed at a primary audience of contemporary designers, the manifesto is an opportunity to develop and communicate one’s personal positionality, as well as highlight the core values and ethics driving their design practice.

The paper plane manifesto explores how diversity and collaboration play an integral role in design. The short poetic story figuratively unfolds throughout the journey of folding the paper plane, as the illustrated figures are united at each intersection of each step.
